Summary

Plastic Toy Frog known as 'Froggy' manufactured by Playmate Toys, Moulded Products (Australasia) Ltd.

Moulded Products (later known as Nylex) produced various designs of plastic toys in Mentone, Victoria and Sydney, New South Wales. They were sold "in large quantities" in the late 1950s and 1960s, first under the "Duperite", then under the "Playmate" trademark. To improve the unpleasant smell and taste of the plastic, vanillia was added to it.
