Hand made marionette depicting a baked pie. It was manufactured and operated in Melbourne by Alex and Murray Smith, who performed as part of Le Forgeron Marionettes from 1930 until 1956.
Physical Description
Marionette depicting a pie, which has been constructed from papier mache, and has been painted in shades of brown and yellow. The pie is oval in shape and has holes at each end in order to attach it to the mechanism by string. The mechanism consists of one piece of wood.
