Physical Description

Marionette depicting a woman in evening dress, who is wearing a shiny, lime green blouse with a long shiny, pink vest over the top which has been decorated in pink sequins and matching sash around her waist. The costume is in excellent condition, although it is somewhat creased. Her skirt is in a darker shade of green and has also been decorated in green sequins. She has orange shoes painted on and her felt soles are intact. She wears a gold sequin necklace around her neck. Her facial features are quite delicate and remain in good condition although there is some chipping on the right side of her face. She looks made up, perhaps like a dancer, with thick black eyeliner accentuating her turquoise eyes. She wears her disintegrating, brown hair close to her head and has decorated it with green ribbons - very elegant!! The Marionette is attached to a three piece mechanism. There are operating strings attached to numerous parts of her, including her head, limbs and shoulders. The feet have been weighted
