Summary
Hand made marionette depicting a green spider. It was manufactured and operated in Melbourne by Alex and Murray Smith, who performed as part of Le Forgeron Marionettes from 1930 until 1956.
Physical Description
Marionette depicting a spider, which is made of a thick piece of cardboard cut into the shape of a spider and painted green with black detailing. Over one side of the torso section, a piece of green fabric has been attached to the card and padded. A couple of his legs are broken (but still attached). He has been decorated with green glitter and has red glitter eyes. This marionette is attached to a piece of wood.
