Summary
Bookmark which forms part of an Australian Citizenship Affirmation Pack issued by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs in 2003 as part of an Australian Government Initiative. The pack emphasises the need for Australian citizens to have a shared vision and commitment to the future of Australia, and highlights the common values and aspirations of Australian citizens. It represents the continued desire to encourage migrants to take out citizenship as well as a new trend towards affirmation - existing citizens reaffirming their national allegiances.

The front of the Bookmark has six small, rectangular colour images including for example the Australian flag and shots of family groups and individuals.
