Summary
A gold-plated medal issued by the Shire of Lowan to commemorate the sesquicentenary of Victoria in 1984-5. The Shire of Lowan was located in the wheat belt of north-west Victoria. It was established on 31 December 1875; in 1995 the Shires of Lowan and Dimboola united to become the Hindmarsh Shire Council.
