Summary
Computer mouse, manufactured by Microsoft, and used by operators in the Melbourne Maritime Radio Station. It was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure.
Physical Description
Off-white, plastic mouse. Ball underneath, grey plastic cord with connector point at front. Mouse an "ergonomic", stylised kidney shape (front of mouse is flat) with a curve on left side to rest thumb on, two buttons on the top. Label underneath is partially obscured by the name "Nick" having been written on it in black marker.
