Summary
Framed printed poster entitled 'Instructions for Rescue in the case of APPARENT DEATH'.
This equipment was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure.
Physical Description
The paper poster is portrait format and is printed in black ink on a now yellowing background. The information is both illustrative and written and it essentially describes the medical procedure to follow in cases of 'Apparent Death'. The poster is encased in a wooden frame with a glass insert and there are also two hooks on the rear of the frame (top and bottom) to enable the object to be wall mounted.
