Metal Morse Key used in conjunction with Console # 1. 
This equipment was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure..
Physical Description
This morse key has a flip up metal cover and is mounted on a flat piece of sturdy metal. The exposed knob/button is fashioned from black plastic and has a raised outer rim. This button attaches to the spring loaded inner workings of the key which are mounted on a black plastic base out of which the connecting cable originates.
