Summary
Duo-tone, mushroom coloured metal ink stamp holder, no known manufacturer.
This equipment was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure..
Physical Description
The carousel style stamp holder sits on a circular metal base at centre of which is a conical (inverted) tube. On top of the tube is the holder itself which is broadly circular in shape but has ten horseshoe shaped spaces in the outer rim to hang/place the stamps in. This top section spins around in both an clockwise and anti-clockwise direction.
