Summary
Wooden plaque presented 'In appreciation of diligent & dedicated service to vessels at sea, September 1991' by the Hidden Harbour Yacht Squadron.
This plaque was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure.
Physical Description
Plaque. Polished wood base with bevelled edges, on the base is fixed a gold coloured plastic panel with black text; centre of this panel features a black and gold plastic medal in the shape of a sun. Maker's label on reverse side.
