This equipment was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure.
Physical Description
Hardback book, the cover of which depicts a colour photograph of two small boats/ yachts moored in a small cove and several individuals either on the boats or on the beach. The content is presented under various headings including 'Boating Regulation', 'Lights Required' and then according to specific locations, 'Andersons Inlet', 'Waratah Bay' and so forth. In addition to the standard text there are additional maps and photograph images throughout the book.
