Ship reporting instruction guidelines and supporting ephemera, published by AMSA (Australia Maritime Safety Authority) in 1996.
This equipment was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure.
Physical Description
Softback booklet (with Telstra date stamp in the top right hand corner) with internal pocket holding additional loose leaf ephemera. The content of the 42 page colour booklet is a combination of text, maps and tables. The associated ephemera is a collection of papers, stickers (x2) and guidelines issued by the AMSA and Telstra.
