A twelve-sided cupru-nickel coin (31.5 mm diameter with plain edge) featuring on the obverse a diademed bust of Elizabeth II facing right; around, ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 1977. The reverse is a wattle blossom within a ring of 25 overlapping crowns with the legend SILVER JUBILEE 50 CENTS between the crowns and the wattle.
