Summary
Auto Alarm manufactured by Anritsu Electrical Ltd Pty, Japan and used in conjunction with Main Operator Console. The unit was manufactured in 1967 and appears to have been modified in 1975.
This equipment was collected from the Melbourne Coastal Radio Station after it was closed in July 2002. In addition to communications equipment and documentation, items in general office use were collected in order to represent as far as possible the working environment at the time of closure.
Physical Description
Rectangular box shaped object with two switches and control knobs on the grey front panel and connector ports on the rear panel. The box probably fitted into a cavity within the main console and exposed only the two end panels (where the controls or connections are located).
