Summary
Colour brochure for Sitmar Line ships SS Fairsea and SS Fairwind. These two ships operated from 1971 and were originally intended for voyages from Sydney to Los Angeles. This plan was abandoned and they were used for pleasure cruises around America. The SS Fairsea was sent early to ship breakers in 1969 after an engine room fire. Her sister ship the SS Fairwind remained in service and made several voyages to Australia from 1988.
