General Description
Colony of individual polyps (hydranths) joined by root-like network of tubular stolons at the base. Colony shape is single stems. Colour: colony white to yellow. Up to 15 mm high.
Biology
This species grows mainly in late winter to summer.
Distribution
Southern Australia (South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia).
Habitat
Subtidal, epiphytic on brown algae and epizoic on sponges, bryozoans and other benthic fauna.
