Colony of individual polyps (hydranths) joined by root-like network of tubular stolons at the base. Colony shape is simple. Colour: colonies white.
Biology
This species grows annually over summer.
Distribution
Circumglobal in Antarctic and Sub-Antarctic waters. Australian distribution: Tasmania and Victoria.
Habitat
Subtidal, epiphytic on large brown kelps.
