General Description
This green moth has pale markings following the wing veins, and two pale lines across each wing. At rest the wings are held out flat against the surface. The edges of the wings are cream to yellow and there is a cream line running along the length of the body. There are small red markings at the shoulders, wingtip and face. Males have feathered antennae, females have threadlike antennae. Wingspan 2.5-3.5 cm.
Biology
Larvae of this species have been raised on Golden Wattle, Acacia pycnantha, and are probably found on other Acacia species. These moths are readily attracted to light.
Distribution
From Queensland to Tasmania. In Victoria it is found on and south of the Great Dividing Range.
Habitat
Forests, usually in moister sites.
