General Description
Body grey or metallic brown with a wide black stripe along the side (lateral stripe). Throat often orange-red. Up to 6 cm long (snout-vent).
Biology
Up to three Eastern Three-lined Skink females may nest together, each laying clutches of up to five eggs.
Distribution
South-eastern Australia, including eastern Victoria.
Habitat
Woodlands, grasslands and heathlands. May climb low grass tussocks or shrubs to bask.
