General Description
Upper body parts and wings grey, red near base of tail on the rump. Head and underparts light grey. Eyebrow red. Body up to 12 cm long.
Biology
Red-browed Finches form small to medium flocks when not breeding. They feed on grass seeds.
Distribution
Eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
Most areas including forests and urban areas.
