General Description
Upper body and underparts green with yellow under-wing patch. Front of head red with a wide red stripe on the cheek and a blue crown. Bill red-brown. Body up to 22 cm long.
Biology
Musk Lorikeets are nomadic, moving to different areas in different seasons. They feed in large noisy flocks, on nectar and pollen from flowering eucalypts.
Distribution
South-eastern mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Habitat
Forests, woodlands and urban areas with dense vegetation.
