General Description
Upper body blue-grey to black-grey, underparts white. Flippers black with white edge. Bill dark brown. Feet pink to light grey. Body up to 40 cm long.
Biology
Little Penguins are the smallest of the world's penguins. They make nests in crevices between rocks or burrows in the sand dunes.
Distribution
Southern mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Habitat
Coastal waters.
