General Description
Body grey or brown, sometimes with small red spots. Hind legs and groin with pink patches. Call: long bursts, "cra-a-a-a-a-a-a-ck, cra-a-ack, cra-a-ack". Up to 4 cm long.
Biology
Smooth Froglets shelter beneath the vegetation and leaf litter. They breed in summer, January to February.
Distribution
South-eastern mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Habitat
Damp areas with vegetation, including forests and shrublands.
