General Description
Body brown to green with dark irregular olive green patches. Often have an orange or red patch above eyelid. Call: single dog-like "bark". Up to 5 cm long.
Biology
Marsh Frogs use a variety of shelters including floating vegetation, logs, leaf litter, crevices in the ground, and even yabby burrows.
Distribution
Eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
River plains, woodlands and grassy regions that flood with high rainfall.
