General Description
Body green to brown with a wide mottled gold and black stripe along the side of the body. Back smooth; eardrum (tympanum) hidden. Call: high-pitch and long, then short, low parts "eeeeeeeek cruk cruk". Up to 4 cm long.
Biology
Leaf Green River Tree Frogs are excellent swimmers and jumpers. They frequent fast-flowing river areas. Males call from vegetation or rocks along river banks.
Distribution
South-eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
Flowing streams in mountain ranges and wet forests.
