General Description
Body pale brown with dark patches and a dark patch on the middle of the back. Pads present but only slightly wider than the toes. Eardrum (tympanum) hidden. Morphologically indistinguishable from the Brown Tree Frog, Call: slow "creee creee cree cree". Up to 4 cm long.
Biology
Victorian Frogs are only known from Victoria, as their name suggests. Their eggs and tadpoles can be found in the slow-flowing water of rivers and creeks, as well as in roadside pools.
Distribution
Central and eastern Victoria.
Habitat
Woodlands and open habitats including alpine areas.
