General Description
Body usually without patterns and two wide stripes along the back, one each side of the spine. Inside of mouth pink. Line of spines behind the ears. Up to 12 cm long (snout-vent).
Biology
Nobbi Dragons move quickly across the ground, stopping to perch on fallen logs and tree trunks. They run on their hind legs when threatened. They are a sit and wait predator, feeding mainly on insects.
Distribution
South-eastern and eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
Dry regions, usually with spinifex grasses or mallee areas.
