General Description
Body pale grey with pale markings and a dark stripe from the nose through the eye to the ear. Inside of mouth yellow. Up to 12 cm long (snout-vent).
Biology
Mallee Tree Dragons run on their hind legs to escape threats. They commonly perch on logs and tree branches and are also seen on flat ground.
Distribution
Central southern mainland Australia.
Habitat
Dry regions including mallee, woodlands, heath and scrub.
