General Description
Body with one or several dark stripes along each side. Tongue not forked and ears visible. Up to 9 cm long (snout-vent).
Biology
Striped Legless Lizards can live for over 10 years and start mating after 3-4 years old.
Distribution
Isolated populations in south-eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
Grassy basalt plains, often under logs, rocks and leaf litter.
