General Description
Body olive-brown with dark edges around the scales. Stripes along the body and around the head. Up to 14 cm long (snout-vent).
Biology
Patternless Legless Lizards eat mainly insects and move in wriggling jumps across open areas. The scientific name translates to having no distinct patterns on the body.
Distribution
South-eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
Grasslands and woodlands with grassy undergrowth.
