General Description
Body fur light grey-brown, white underneath. Ears very long and joined above the forehead. Body up to 5 cm long.
Biology
Lesser Long-eared Bats catch insects mid-air or on plants. They are one of the most common bats in suburban areas and are often caught by cats.
Distribution
Mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Habitat
Forests, woodlands, mallee, farmland and urban areas.
