General Description
Body light brown-grey. Fur lightly covers the tail. Narrow ring of pale fur around the eye. Body up to 11 cm; tail up to 12 cm.
Biology
Agile Antechinus feed on a variety of insects and small vertebrates. Like other antechinus species, they die after breeding. Logs on the ground are critical foraging habitat and refuges for this species.
Distribution
South-eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
Leaf litter and fallen logs in forests, heath, woodlands and coastal plains.
