General Description
Body flattened with feather-like gills on the side of the abdomen. Colour varies, including brown or grey. Up to 2 cm long.
Biology
These nymphs eat leaves, wood and other organic matter. They belong to a widespread genus of Mayfly with numerous species.
Distribution
Mainland Australia, except Western Australia.
Habitat
Still or slow-flowing water, sometimes on aquatic plants or logs.
