General Description
Body flattened with plate-like gills on the side of the abdomen. Top (dorsal) surface of body has a dark pattern. Up to 2 cm long.
Biology
These nymphs feed by scraping algae from the surface of submerged rocks.
Distribution
Eastern mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Habitat
Underside of rocks in flowing water, including in upland streams.
