General Description
Body green with filamentous gills on the first five abdominal segments. Two tails on the tip of the abdomen. Up to 4 cm long.
Biology
These nymphs are carnivores and eat small aquatic insects. They live for up to 3 years before emerging as adult stoneflies.
Distribution
Eastern mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Habitat
Moderate to fast-flowing water.
