General Description
Body dark brown with lime green or yellow markings. Some of the markings on the top of the wing cases (elytra) look like a violin. Body up to 2 cm long.
Biology
Adult Fiddler Beetles feed on nectar and are often seen on flowers of eucalypts and other trees. They are strong fliers. The larvae live and feed in rotting wood or vegetation.
Distribution
Eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
On vegetation.
