General Description
Body straight along the sides and red-brown with lines along the wing cases (elytra). Head is tucked under body and not visible from above. Antennae have three enlarged segments at the tips. Larva: small and white. Body up to 4 mm long.
Biology
Drugstore Beetles are common pantry pests; the larvae attack a wide range of stored food items. The adult beetles do not feed.
Distribution
Worldwide. Eastern Mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Habitat
Urban areas.
