General Description
Body brown with a diagonal pale yellow cross on the back and yellow tips on the antennae. Rear legs of male enlarged. Body up to 3 cm long.
Biology
Crusader Bugs feed on wattles and cassias, but also attack new growth and flowering shoots of a range of other plants, including grapes and citrus. They produce a foul-smelling liquid if threatened.
Distribution
Mainland Australia.
Habitat
Schlerophyll forests and urban gardens.
