General Description
Body dark brown with pale mark behind the head area (pronotum) and pale brown legs. Body up to 2 cm long.
Biology
These earwigs are garden pests because they eat petals and fruit, but they can also be beneficial because they eat some pest insects. They are active at night.
Distribution
Worldwide. Mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Habitat
Urban gardens.
