General Description
Body green to green-brown. Male has wings. Female has short purple hindwings. Body up to 10 cm long.
Biology
Spur-legged Phasmids feed on eucalypt leaves. They sometimes occur in large numbers and become pests of eucalypt forests. The males can fly, but the females cannot fly.
Distribution
Eastern mainland Australia.
Habitat
Eucalypt forests.
