General Description
Six grey side plates, often rough and eroded. Up to 2 cm high, 1 cm wide.
Biology
Six-plated Barnacles may not be covered with water every tide because they live high on the shore. They feed only during unusually high tides.
Distribution
Southern Australia.
Habitat
Exposed rocky shores, near high tide level.
