General Description
Carapace rectangular shape and green-black. Claws orange-red. Up to 3 cm wide (carapace).
Biology
Red-fingered Shore Crabs live in burrows and emerge at low tide to forage for mangrove leaves. If threatened, they run to their burrows for protection.
Distribution
Eastern Australian coast, except Tasmania.
Habitat
Mangroves.
