This cast is a copy of the skull of AMNH 5027, the Tyrannosaurus rex specimen on display at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, USA. Museums Victoria acquired this cast in a specimen exchange with the AMNH in 1924. This skull is notable as the basis for the logo of the Jurassic Park film series.
