Summary

Regent Bowerbirds are a species of bowerbird found in the forests on the eastern side of Australia's Great Dividing Range, in north-eastern New South Wales south-eastern Queensland. Adult males are distinctively yellow and black while females and juveniles are brown. The Regent Bowerbird is one species of 20 in the Family of bowerbirds and catbirds known for the complex courtship displays of the males, including the construction of a bower or display area decorated with natural and man-made objects, with the intent to attract females to mate.
