The Collective Biography of Archaeology in the Pacific (CBAP) Project is an Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureate funded project examining the history of Pacific archaeology and its roots in Ethnology. It consists of 11 scholars at PhD to professorial level, based in the School of Archaeology and Anthropology, College of Arts and Social Sciences at the ANU in Canberra. The CBAP Project has been funded for the period March 2015-2020 from the Australia Research Council's (ARC) Laureate Fellowship Program awarded to Professor Matthew Spriggs, along with further financial and administrative support from the ANU.
