PRISM Volume 1, published by Museums Victoria in September 2025, features seven outstanding contributions from Museums Victoria staff, Research Associates and expert museum industry colleagues.

The volume features research exploring the history of astronomy, migration and communications technology in Australia, plus a critical analysis of creating a sense of belonging in exhibition spaces, and insights into Museums Victoria's archives and collections.

The authors of Volume 1 are:

Jemimah Widdicombe; Nik McGrath; Dr Dzavid Haveric; Jade Hadfield; Dr Martin Bush; Dr Laura Jocic; and Dr Moya McFadzean. The edition was edited by Danta Boffa; Deborah Tout-Smith was associate editor.
