Alexander Morrison won a Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria silver first prize medal in 1908 for a 'set of wagonette harness' (NU 20487).

Morrison also won silver first prize Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria medals in 1905, 1906, 1907 and 1910 for race or stock saddles. The medals, by Stokes & Martin, were advertised for sale on the Noble Numismatics web site in January 2004.

In 1908 Alexander Morrison, saddler, had premises on the ground floor of the Gothic Chambers at 418 Bourke St and at 1 Wright's Lane. His manufactory was probably located in Wright's Lane, since it was also occupied by three other saddle-makers, three printers, a picture framer, 'metal spinner', photographer, card maker and book binder.

Wright had also had a premises at 394 Little Bourke St in previous years, but appears to have left that address by 1908.
