Other Details: This Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria silver first prize medal was awarded in 1908 to Alexander Morrison for a set of wagonette harness. Morrison also won four silver first prize Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria medals in 1905, 1906, 1907 and 1910 for race or stock saddles. In 1908 Alexander Morrison, saddler, had premises on the ground floor of the Gothic Chambers at 418 Bourke St and at 1 Wright's Lane. His manufatory was probably located in Wright's Lane, since it was also occupied by three other saddle-makers, three printers, a picture framer, 'metal spinner', photographer, card maker and book binder.

A silver prize medal (36 mm diameter) awarded to Alexander Morrison, featuring Victoria standing holding a Victor's wreath and colonial shield surrounded by the heads of a horse, sheep and cow, a plough, wind mill and stables. In the background a ship powered by steam ans sail leaves port and a light-house.
