Australian Numismatic Society, Sydney, New South Wales

The Australian Numismatic Society was established in 1913. It was dedicated to providing numismatic education to its members and other interested individuals.

In 1966 it issued a medal to commemorate a Capricornia Festival (NU 20345). In 2003 the ANS issued a medal to mark its 90th anniversary.

In 2004 adult members were charged $25.00, with a $5.00 joining fee. Members under 16 were charged $12.50. Meetings are held monthly in major centres including Sydney and Brisbane. Two reports are issued each year and members receive one Numismatic Association of Australia journal annually.
